We are finalising plans for a new summer campaign to help champion the city centre and the many successful businesses, venues and activities that can be found here. Running from June to August, Love Local, Shop Local will be a three-month celebration of Chichester.
As part of the campaign we have invested in activities to help enhance the city centre with additional street cleaning and planting displays. We have also been working on a new design project to help demonstrate everything Chichester has to offer. The design will be used across all promotional materials for the Love Local, Shop Local campaign, including a set of new flags and bunting to decorate the streets and independent shops. The design incorporates cultural, historical and architectural icons to showcase the abundance of activity that goes on in and around the city.
Chichester is becoming well known for its wealth of independent businesses and to celebrate this important sector of the city, we are creating an independents shopping guide to help encourage visitors to discover these many innovative and talented retailers.
There will also be some exciting events and activities taking place throughout the summer months on the streets of Chichester city centre, details of which will be released in due course.

With galleries, shops, independent retailers, restaurants, bars, a thriving music scene and iconic venues such as Pallant House Gallery, Edes House and Chichester Festival Theatre there is so much to be proud of – we really want to remind people who live, work and shop in Chichester what a fantastic and diverse place this is and encourage them to get behind the campaign and support our city.”
