Help for Business - Do you need it for yours?

The City Centre Partnership is pleased to announce a new initiative in conjunction with Chichester Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Help for Business scheme...

The scheme addresses 2 specific BID objectives which are to ‘support business growth and expansion’ and ‘create a business directory for businesses’ in Chichester and the aim of it is to replace the face-to-face service once provided by Business Link by building on the close-knit business community that exists in our city.

The scheme will bring together local Start-Ups and SMEs needing easily accessible, low cost, face-to-face information and advice with local professional advisers and suppliers.

Volunteer ‘Signposters’ will direct those requiring advice by using a directory of advisers and suppliers. Advice will be available on business planning, marketing & sales, finance and funding, IT, HR and the supply of goods & services.

The ‘Signposting’ service will be free at the point of entry but ultimately advice will be negotiated on commercial terms with the supplier.

Active supporters of the scheme are the Economic Development Service at Chichester District Council, University of Chichester, Chichester College, Barclays Bank, Handelsbanken, NatWest, Santander, James Todd & Co Accountants, Profile Training, Bespoke PR & Marketing and Biz-360 Ltd.
